Ash Dieback Works

Further to earlier road closure announcements, Shipton Parish Council has been advised by GCC Highways Department of road closures to the A40 in order to carry out essential works to remove unsafe trees infected with Ash Dieback.

When: These works will take place between 21 July - 25th July 2025 inclusive from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm daily. During this period, there will be no through access from the A40 roundabout at Northleach to A40 junction with A436 and Shipton. 

Further details of the closure, restictions on access and alternative routes are given in the communication below, provided by the GCC Highway Department.
